ROOTED IN ASSAM • INNOVATION IN SILK

A textile future built from generational valley knowledge.

Assam's textile heritage is shaped by its river valleys, rain-fed castor groves, and indigenous weaving traditions. Eri Valley is pioneering an integrated ecosystem connecting sericulture, handloom weaving, and conscious global partnerships.

01 • AHIMSA METHODOLOGY

Non-violent emergence.
Nature completed unharmed.

Unlike conventional silk where pupae are boiled alive to extract filament, the Eri caterpillar completes its 45-day natural metamorphosis and emerges freely as a moth before cocoon collection begins. 100% peace silk.

02 • THERMAL SCIENCE

Hollow-core filament.
All-season thermal control.

Microscopic hollow pores trap insulating air in winter and permit breathable moisture release in summer heat. Warmth like cashmere, breathability like linen.

03 • HANDLOOM CRAFT

Generational pit looms.
Authentic organic slub.

Individually drafted on traditional drop spindles (takli) and interlaced on village throw-shuttle looms, imparting subtle tactile slubs that no industrial machine can replicate.

04 • VALLEY ECOSYSTEM

From valley groves to global ateliers.
Direct artisan equity.

We build direct bridges connecting castor farmers, women spinner collectives, and master weavers directly with contemporary fashion labels and conscious clients, keeping value in Assam.
